Our History

GTP Consulting Engineers was founded by Steve Gaddy in 2002 as WSG Engineering, an electrical-only engineering firm. In the fall of 2004, Steve partnered with Justin Tracy creating GTP Consulting Engineers, a full-service engineering firm providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection services for private and public sector projects throughout the world.

GTP Consulting Engineers is a Small Business Enterprise, a certified commissioning firm registered with ACG, and has LEED certified professionals ready to assist you.

Our Principals

W. Steve Gaddy Jr.
P.E.

Principal, Senior Electrical Engineer

Mr. Gaddy’s design and project management experience includes retail spaces, office buildings, educational facilities, fueling systems, hospitality facilities, places of assembly, hotels, medical facilities, and mission-critical facilities. He has handled both renovation and new-construction design in a variety of procurement formats. Mr. Gaddy has provided power, lighting and fire alarm design and construction administration services for multiple laboratory facilities, fitness centers (both new build and adaptive reuse), office facilities (new build and renovation) and maintenance, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities totaling over 10,000,000 square feet.  

Mr. Gaddy founded GTP consulting Engineers (previously WSG Engineering) in 2002 as owner and senior electrical engineer. Prior to that, he worked as a senior electrical engineer at Bolden Engineers, where he handled electrical project design and the review of all the electrical drawings produced by the company. He has also worked as a project engineer at both Pond & Company and at CDH Partners. His responsibilities at those firms ranged from electrical project design to budgeting and design-studio forecasting.

Mr. Gaddy graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering. In 2000, He received his professional engineering license in Georgia. As one of the Sr. Electrical Engineers and Principals for GTP Consulting Engineers, Mr. Gaddy has been technically responsible for the firm’s electrical designs and construction administration for the last 26 years.

Justin B. Tracy

Principal, Senior Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Tracy has managed and designed a wide range of mechanical, plumbing, and fire-protection projects during his engineering career. These projects include historic renovations, office buildings, mission-critical facilities, infrastructure upgrades, child-care facilities, television studios, and fueling systems. He has been responsible for master planning for critical systems and campus infrastructures, integration of antiterrorism components to existing buildings, and design/build programming for mechanical contractors. He is also experienced in performing feasibility studies, energy studies, energy audits, and system commissioning. 

Prior to joining GTP Consulting Engineers, Mr. Tracy was a branch manager and vice-president for Greenman-Pederson, Inc., overseeing its Rockville, MD, and Richmond, VA, offices. During his tenure with the firm, he expanded its governmental and mission-critical design studios. 

Mr. Tracy graduated with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. He received his professional engineering license in Virginia in 2000. As the Sr. Mechanical Engineer and Principal for GTP Consulting Engineers, Mr. Tracy is technically responsible for the firm’s mechanical and plumbing designs and construction administration.

Reza Bahador

Senior Plumbing Designer

Mr. Bahador is a certified plumbing designer with experience leading design initiatives for commercial, residential, educational, and medical/laboratory settings. He provides the technical leadership to create perfectly engineered solutions for facility related plumbing systems, including hot water plants, lift station, storm water mitigation, retention and grey water use, and controls/SCADA systems all while maintaining compliance with building codes and environmental initiatives. Mr. Bahador is a member of both the ASPE and the US Green Building Council. His expertise has been invaluable in expanding GTP’s plumbing engineering capabilities. Mr. Bahador received his education at LA Pierce College, UCLA Extension, Allen Hancock College, and Imperial Valley College.

Craig Goldstein

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Goldstein has extensive experience in the design and construction of building mechanical systems. He is both a certified LEED Professional and a Certified Energy Manager, providing expert energy modeling and sustainability practices to achieve LEED building certifications. Mr. Goldstein expertise has enabled GTP to increase both its mechanical engineering and sustainability consulting services. Mr. Goldstein has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Jennifer Meyer

Senior Fuels Engineer

Ms. Meyer’s mechanical engineering expertise is focused primarily on the design and construction of fueling systems for military installations worldwide. Her experience includes over 150 POL-based task orders, serving as lead engineer on more than $320M of DoD fuel system projects, and lead inspector for multiple tank group inspection programs. Ms. Meyer has been instrumental in expanding GTP’s fueling portfolio. Ms. Meyer has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from North Georgia College and State University and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Yoni Pollak

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Pollak has experience in a wide range of mechanical, plumbing, fuels and fire-protection projects. These projects include office buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure upgrades, municipal facilities, and fueling systems. He is also experienced in performing facility assessments, energy audits, and system commissioning. As GTP’s very first employee, Mr. Pollak’s broad expertise has helped grow the company. Mr. Pollak has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Jeff Paramore

Senior Electrical Engineer

Mr. Paramore is responsible for the design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and special systems for both new construction and renovations to existing buildings. His project experience is extensive, ranging from airports, hospitals, laboratory, military installations, and commercial buildings. Mr. Paramore’s vast expertise has expanded GTP’s electrical engineering capabilities. Mr. Paramore has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
